It is important to me to run my business as ethically as possible because hey, the world is bad enough, right? ;) I work closely only with small artisan goods makers abroad who are able to turn my ideas into reality and to share with you wonderful things from around the world. None of my newly made products are mass produced and I don't work with faceless companies. They have all been hand crafted with love by artisan makers from around the globe from Morocco, to India, Kenya and Indonesia just to name a few. I only work with people I have established a personal relationship with and who I trust have their heart in the right place. I try to especially empower female run businesses (that's 80% of my production partners) because it's about time we take over #GirlPower.

At Maya's Curiosities we care deeply about the environment and this planet and reducing waste as much as possible. For a start, we love wearing vintage and saving the planet! It is easy to integrate some of Maya's vintage pieces into your wardrobe and look ultra stylish and like the hippie chick you are at heart.
Our newly crafted products are widely made from natural materials that aren't harmful to the environment and can be easily recycled or upcycled. We only sell products that are worth fixing should they break. We don't offer throw away items but what we sell should last you a lifetime if cared for correctly. We also only use biodegradable or at least recycled packaging materials to ship your goods.
