Authentic Masai necklace handmade from glass beads on genuine cow leather. This is a large statement necklace made from a beaded ring with multicoloured tribal design. This unique Vintage handmade African necklace has been beaded by East African (most likely Kenyan) Maasai woman. This style is often referred to as a wedding necklace, but also worn on other festive occasions.
 
Maasai necklaces are always crafted with vividly coloured glass beads, usually in geometric patterns which are sewn onto thick cow hide leather. The collar is closed with a simple wire hook.
